Lessons to my Younger Self - Dr. Binu Stanley, Head of Talent Management Consulting & Digital Transformation, IBS Software

What lessons would you give your younger self? We asked Binu Stanley, Head of Talent Management CDx. She shares uplifting and actionable advice we can all follow.

Discover cultures

Travel and meet people from different cultures, backgrounds, and ethnicities. Eat the local food, understand their ways of life. We are but a tiny speck in this world.

Invest in yourself

Spend time to become a better you, every day. Discover a hobby – It can be playing a musical instrument, singing, cooking, knitting, gardening.

It will enrich your life and of those around you.

Broaden your horizon through reading

Read read and read. Get a glimpse into the lives of great people by reading their autobiographies. Read the latest developments in technology, science, and art; you will be able to strike up a conversation when you meet new people.

Reading expands your horizon sitting in the comfort of your home.

Volunteer for a better tomorrow

Take time to volunteer and help those who are less privileged. You'll appreciate your blessings.

We should aim to leave the world a better place than we came into it.

Grow your network

Cultivate friendships and always try to meet new people, expanding your network. Talk to people from different areas of life.

There is a world out there which is very different to what you have experienced.
