IBS Kochi to be a landmark for Kerala Inc.

IBS Kochi to be a landmark for Kerala Inc.

The proposed IBS Kochi campus is predicted to be a major milestone, not only in the history of our company, but also for the business environment in the state of Kerala, India where it is located. The new facility will accommodate 6000 employees, which is a substantial number in the small state's economy. This is a preparatory step for continuation of our aggressive growth plans into the near future.

Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan, Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala, applauded IBS and our Executive Chairman V K Mathews for being instrumental in busting the 'myth' that Kerala is a hostile state for industrialists. The Chief Minister, who launched the project by unveiling a plaque marking the site for the proposed structure, was optimistic that this would be a tremendous boost to investor confidence in the state which has an outstandingly talented but largely underutilized workforce.

Rajiv Shah, CEO of IBS Software, delivered the welcome address at the event. He pointed out that although we already have considerable manpower of 800 people working at the leased facility in the Infopark Special Economic Zone, Kochi the new 600,000 square feet fully owned and managed eco-friendly campus which will be completed in 2019 signifies a dream coming true. V K Mathews, Executive Chairman of IBS Software, then addressed the audience and reaffirmed his confidence in the state of Kerala and its readiness to helm a digital revolution.

A large crowd of IBSians and several dignitaries had gathered to bear witness to the impressive event. Once complete, this will be the second fully owned and managed facility for IBS - the first one being in Technopark, Trivandrum where our company has its headquarters. Here's to the bright future we envision as the No.1 IT solutions provider for the air transportation industry!
