IBS Software ups investments in aviation test labs to boost airlines’ recovery
It's an increasingly well-established fact that innovative technology solutions hold the key to how airlines recover from the impact of Covid-19 and position themselves to grow once again. Digital transformation has rocketed up the board room agenda as airlines plot their route to boost efficiency, cut costs and revolutionise the customer and partner experience.
What is less clear is how airlines successfully deliver their digital transformation objectives by ensuring that the organisation is ready for change, the software is fit for purpose and the desired business outcomes are met.
That's why IBS Software has increased its investments in global aviation test labs, allowing airlines to expedite these transformation programs to boost their recovery. A major part of this commitment is the establishment of our Independent Transformation Quality (iTQ) practice, which is designed to going beyond the traditional approach of just ensuring that software is defect-free.
Moving away from commoditised testing helps airlines focus on readiness and the quality required for the overall success of their digital transformation initiatives. iTQ provides airlines with a scalable, flexible and easy to use means for ensuring software quality in a challenging business environment that demands an agile delivery model while navigating the added complexities of much shorter timelines and innovative commercial models.
At a time when airlines want to reduce IT spend and expedite their go-to-market strategy while taking steps to achieve digital superiority in an ever-changing world, we see it as our responsibility to make the right investments to support our customers when they need it most. That spans investments in our people, software assets and domain and technology expertise for our platforms – as well as in AI, cloud, data, and cybersecurity – to support our customers' digital transformation journeys.
Technology is crucial to navigating the many challenges of the Covid-19 crisis and emerging stronger. We're proud that a number of industry-leading airlines across the globe are already reaping the benefits of our unique delivery model and approach to transformation quality to do exactly that.
